Our volunteers in St. George continue to help residents displaced by the early morning apartment fire as they begin to navigate the days ahead. ❀️ We opened our St. George office as a temporary shelter this morning so those displaced had a place to rest, eat and connect with our volunteers for immediate support. We’re also grateful for community partners, including Einstein Bagels, for providing food so displaced residents had a meal. If you were impacted by this fire and need help now, call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767). #RedCrossUtah #StGeorge #RedCrossResponse #DisasterRelief #Utah

It's National CPR and AED Awareness Week (June 1–7) β€” and the most important thing to know is this: most cardiac emergencies happen at home. 🏠 That means the people most likely to need your help are the ones you love most. You don't need to be a medical professional to save a life. Hands-only CPR is something anyone can learn, and knowing where to find a nearby AED could make all the difference in those critical first minutes. Here's where to start: ❀️ Learn hands-only CPR πŸ“ Locate AEDs in your home, workplace and community πŸ“š Take a CPR class β€” in person or online Every second counts. Take a class today and be ready when it matters most: πŸ‘‰ redcross.org/local/utah/take… #CPRAwarenessWeek #HandsOnlyCPR #RedCross #SaveALife

🐢 Taking your furry friend for a ride this summer? πŸš— Keep them safe by never leaving them locked in the car β€” even for a quick errand! On warm days, temperatures inside a vehicle can climb to 120 degrees or higher in minutes (even in the shade). That kind of heat can quickly lead to heat stroke or worse for your pet. If you need to make a stop, it’s safest to leave your pets at home. ❀️ Find more summer pet safety tips visit RedCross.org/PetTravelSafety
