The project is raising the final capital needed for its planning & design phase, with funds used for rezoning, town planning, initial design work & infrastructure. The loan unlocks a further $1.3m which has been approved by the Development Bank of Southern Africa's Green Fund.

Malnutrition and iron deficiency is a major problem for infants as well as pregnant and breast-feeding women in Cambodia, Danish Care Foods have a unique and novel approach to overcoming these issues with ready-to-use therapeutic foods (RTUFs) that are prescribed as a treatment.
The loan will help the team to supply the needed products for projects to support 1000 children in 3 provinces, and enable them to set up their production capacity prior to scaling.
