The Twin Falls county assessor just used a taxpayer-funded mailing to argue against eliminating property taxes. Guess whose job depends on keeping them.
His job is to assess property values accurately. Not to lobby against tax reform on your dime. Idaho can eliminate property taxes and still fund local government and retain local control.

The state is spending more on relief every year and you are paying more every year. That is a treadmill, not a solution.
DeSantis just called a special session to eliminate property taxes on Florida homesteads. Idaho should be leading this fight, not following.
