The last few days watching the drama unfold on twitter is disturbing, knowing that people harbor these things endlessly. I can't even really put into words how it feels to see the way social media/etc has changed the way interactions happen in the gaming scene. Everyone also intentionally or unintentionally doing dark empath type behavior is crazy. I'm a boomer when I pause and think about how the way drama unfolds/develops now, but more so how rapidly it grows. Before a storm used to be necessary for there to be drama, now you need only a raindrop for a tide to turn. People intentionally want to think the worst of everyone and willfully misunderstand things or intentions too. I just feel bad for everyone involved watching. Whether it be because they're the victim in the situation or they're lashing out because they never learned any other way, no matter how one looks at it, it's sad.

I hope that in the future Riot can distinguish between a "Hall of Fame" for League of Legends players that have shaped the 14 years of lolesports that we've enjoyed to date, and the "Hall of Legends" skin marketing exercise. Filtering recognition of candidates by their ability to sell skins, and amount of candidates per year to ~1 due to the skin being a core part of someone entering the Hall of Legends is needlessly exclusionary. A Hall of Fame at its core is to celebrate and recognize people who have made outstanding contributions to a field - It stops the passage of time from forgetting First Ballet hall of famers like Madlife & WeiXiao. I propose that Riot inducts 5 Hall of Fame players every year and elevate one per year to the "Hall of Legends" - That way the marketing campaign aspect can continue but we begin to recognize the stars of yesterday as well.

I'm usually very on board with whaling, the game is f2p, if someone wants to flaunt their wealth it's a win-win for everyone. But to tell players you aren't a part of Faker's celebration because you can't afford it is crazy and goes against what he brought to the sports😐

Riot could have done something great to celebrate the players that built this game and its community. Instead they did another cash grab.

GENG BLG and T1 are all really good teams and we should enjoy the quality games. Both regions are very competitive and just because 1 beats the other doesn't mean the other is shit. Also anyone who calls whoever between knight and chovy loses an international choker is cringe, these are the 2 best teams in the world facing off

Fearless draft should be the future of competitive LoL. Drafting is way more interesting when it's not the same 5 champions in almost every game. More flexible players with deep champion pools should be rewarded & it's just WAY more entertaining. PLEASE make it a global change!
