Watching HOC. Liberals are so full of shit. How can they pretend to care about privacy when they push bills like C-22 which completely rips any privacy we have left.

July will be Somali Heritage month. After taking down your Pride flag at the end of the June, it will be time to put up your Jolly Roger flag! Flags are now available for purchase at the Learing Center.

Hello, Johnny. We are actively reviewing draft Bill C-22 and will participate in any relevant consultation process available to us. However, should Bill C-22 pass in its current form and if we are subjected to mandatory obligations, there isn't a scenario in which we would compromise our no-logs architecture or encryption protections. To prevent this, we will consider all viable options, including limiting or, if necessary, removing our presence from Canadian jurisdiction.

Petition against Bill C-22. Sign and share far and wide. While there has been a lot of bad bills passed by the liberals this is one of the worst ones yet. ourcommons.ca/petitions/en/Pโ€ฆ

So I just had a realization, if Bill C22 passes and you have security cameras on your house, you will be required to hold data for 1 year and also provide access so police can login any time they want. Most people including myself simply don't have that kind of storage even if we wanted to, and no way in hell I want police to be able to login to it any time they want.

I need to give credit where it's due. George Floyd has been drug free for 6 years. Congrats on the sobriety!

They've been doing tons of aerosol spraying in my area. I used to think the whole thing was just a conspiracy theory, but I've been seeing it for myself. They do a bunch of passes, then it turns into a haze then the sun is gone for rest of day. Regular contrails are thin, and vanish. Not these. Has anyone thought of sending a weather balloon with instruments up when they do this to try to collect some of it? Would be interesting to send that to an independent lab to see what they find.

Am I crazy for actually wanting the Lyme vaccine? I will wait until more data is available on safety and effectiveness obviously, but the idea of a tiny microscopic bug being able to give me a life altering disease is pretty terrifying. Dressing up like it's -30 out is not exactly realistic when working in the bush in summer. I tend to work in shorts and often shirtless lol.

Here's my potentially unpopular take on the census, I don't trust the government as much as the next person, but census happens regardless of who is in power and Statscan is somewhat independent of the party in charge. Some of the data used is useful for things like getting proper representation or even in the future, getting historic data etc. I hesitated, but decided to fill mine out. I respect anyone's choice if they rather not do it and won't hold it against you, but I think if you live in a smaller city or rural area especially if you're white it might actually be in your best interest to fill it. Not filling it doesn't really hurt the government, it just gives them a reason to take more of your money via fines. It's a battle that is not going to be easy to win. They already have most of that information anyway. It's kind of like taxes. I am not happy to pay them, but refusing is a lost battle. The government is a legalized mafia, sometimes you just have to pick your battles.

Been watching Chernobyl. The way the soviet officials gaslight people telling them they didn't see what they saw, and downplaying the situation, reminds me so much of our own government doing the same about things like costs of living and crime.

I decided to DIY some major plumbing which caused my basement to flood because I had no idea what I was doing. Everyone told me to just turn off the main valve but that's far right extremism, I won't do that, there are better ways. Decided to come up with an action plan that is more responsible then cutting water to the entire household. Hired a team of 20 people with spoons to start removing water. The rate at which the water is going up has now greatly reduced compared to before I hired the 20 people. The plan is working. This is the same logic liberals use when they try to say they're improving things. Create a problem, then only slightly fix it in a way that it sounds good statistically, and call it a big win. And their supporters flap like seals.

This is what comes to mind when I see liberal supporters saying "elbows up".

The reason this fooled so many people is because it's so close to the truth. I predict that some of us will get arrested for some of our online comments in the coming months. They want to test their new laws. Mark Carney is a useful idiot, and all his supporters are mental midgets. Fact check me.
Influencer Detained in Canada for Promoting Alberta Separationโ€ฆ Seriously? OTTAWA โ€” A Canadian influencer is at the center of national concern this week after making what officials are calling a โ€œbold and deeply inconvenient postโ€ about Alberta separation. The influencer, @martyupnorth, suggested Alberta might be โ€œbetter off on its own,โ€ immediately triggering what insiders describe as a โ€œplease donโ€™t let people look into thisโ€ level response from Ottawa. Authorities have not confirmed a formal detention, but did confirm the situation is โ€œbeing handled with appropriate seriousness.โ€ โ€œWe fully support free speech,โ€ a government spokesperson said. โ€œWe just prefer it doesnโ€™t include provinces leavingโ€ฆ or doing the math.โ€ The comment about โ€œdoing the mathโ€ comes as independent analyses, charts, and basic arithmetic continue to circulate online suggesting Alberta might actually be better offโ€”a development federal officials were quick to clarify has โ€œnot been verified by approved experts, partner media, or our usual panel of concerned talking heads.โ€ โ€œCanadians should rely on trusted sources,โ€ the spokesperson added. โ€œNot random graphs that make things lookโ€ฆ misleading.โ€ The incident comes amid new efforts to regulate โ€œharmful narrativesโ€ onlineโ€”generally understood to include anything that could threaten national unity, economic stability, or uncomfortable conversations about where the money comes from. Alberta, often referred to internally as โ€œthe part of the country that pays for things,โ€ remains a particularly sensitive subject. At press time, Canadians were reminded they are still free to express themselves online โ€” as long as it doesnโ€™t start making sense.

Here me out. Instead of building that crazy expensive ALTO train, build a small airport at each proposed stop, buy Doug Ford's private jet and that can be the "High Speed Train". It would just continuously hop between each spot. Way cheaper. I think even operating it would be cheaper.

Trump's ballroom is going to cost $300M. Using mostly private funds. Carney's high speed train is going to cost minimum $90 BILLION using OUR money. At least Trump funds his own pet project and doesn't make tax payers pay for it.
