Just to double down on all this, here's all the proof you need. While other teams have fully embraced their crazy pasts with their reverse retros, #Isles have had to play it safe. Minimal teal, no lighthouse patches. All because of entitled fans who think they make the rules.

Today’s the last day at the NHL for Chief Statistician Benny Ercolani, who’s retiring after 43 years at the League.
Benny has been a driving force over 5 decades in modernizing hockey statistics. He did it with integrity and honesty.
Congratulations Benny. Good luck.
