Back in β€˜09, Dr. @judyshel reminded us that we should never say β€œwe can’t” when it comes to resolving a situation we are faced with. After 55 years of this Fiat monetary system, many people seem to believe that we can’t escape it. However, I believe that we can. Stay tuned.

Thank you for finding this @Redeyeforecast and I must say that I hold those expressed opinions more strongly than ever and find myself thinking of @elonmusk as an example of what happens when the creators of wealth feel unappreciated by governmentβ€”where bureaucrats stifle creativity and politicians pile on debt.

What role does XRP on the XRPL play in all of this (below) ? 2 main roles. 1.) It acts as a fee so that there is a neural way of charging people for making transactions. 2.) It was built to be a liquidity asset. Also known as the secret sauce of the XRPLedger.
The corresponding banking system is outdated, disjointed and unjust. There are only a few banks internationally that have international correspondence relationships with each other. When sending money internationally, you ultimately have to go through two intermediaries banks before your money arrives at the destination. There is minimal transparency regarding these international transactions.

The time is finally here.
In Chris Larsen’s view, the real journey of fin-tech has yet to truly begin. He considers fintech as the step-child of the internet boom because of the lack of infrastructure for moving money, despite the internet’s capability to handle data. We need both for this revolution. Larsen believed that it was only a matter of time until the world had a global digital asset with no government backing, and no counterparty.

β€œI would argue that some of the early Bitcoin discussions around β€œhey, we’re going to kill the banks and we’re going to take everything over” have been a major setback in this sort of fintech wave.” β€” Chris Larsen

A single database/network cannot be the network of networks, which is ultimately the biggest flaw of the Bitcoin blockchain. The interledger protocol is an overlay protocol which allows innovation on different parts of the network independently from a central governance model.

This is GOLD. Second chances don't come around often. Gold down -25% from its earlier year highs and gold stocks off -40%. Giddy'up!
Being prepared is half the battle; what’s to come is inevitable & it’s coming sooner than you think. πŸ–¨οΈπŸ’΅ @jam_croissant suggests that we all watch this Henry β€œHank” Paulson Jr. (Former United States Secretary of the Treasury) interview that surprisingly got swept under the rug.

It gives me great comfort knowing Ayo is Head of Engineering at RippleX⁩, especially as ⁦David⁩ departs. I remain hopeful that an increasing number of holders and builders alike will understand and appreciate the importance of his point here.

The Federal Reserve is the problem.
Dr. @judyshel acknowledges that the Fed is too powerful, too prominent, and too political. She also accuses Jerome Powell of hypocrisy because of his recent video about legality and the Federal Reserve.
