Breakout trading of a price level:
A trader betting on the breakout expects the level the price is approaching to fail and get broken. In this sense, breakout trading is the direct opposite of a bounce/fade strategy.
Simply breaking the level isn’t enough for a solid risk-reward. The real edge comes from the impulsive move that often follows when price takes out a key level. Caught early, this sharp move can deliver quick profits.

Why it works?????
Strong levels are visible to most market participants. They place their stops beyond them. When the level breaks, stops trigger almost simultaneously, creating a cascade that fuels a sharp impulsive move — like steam bursting out of a tank the moment a crack appears.
The longer the consolidation near the level, the more traders get trapped and the larger the cluster of stop orders builds up on the other side.
