They're wrong but one thing to give them credit for is that AI has some downsides. I've spent all week talking about AI, ML, GenAI, DL, and these primary ways AI works... This post will explore some of the downsides of AI→ I'll highlight 5 that I think are most important -- - Privacy AI collects a lot of personal data from its interactions with humans and it's known to use this data when needed. (So, please stop ranting about your partner to AI 😂) It's a snitch... - Lack of context & common sense AI doesn't work like our human brain does, so it lacks a lot of context and won't apply common sense to things, Not in the way you and I will, you might ask for dressing suggestions in the summer and AI will tell you to put on a hoodie. I'd just tell you not to wear anythi..... - Hallucination AI likes to lie, that might sound off but it's 100% true. You know how we run out of things to write in an exam and finish a sentence with "etc...", AI takes it a bit further than that, It will make up fake facts and tell you confidently, that's called "Hallucination". So, take everything with a grain of salt. - Deep fakes The fact that AI creates hyper-realistic images is as amazing as it is bad, these pictures can be used for malicious purposes... Misinformation, scamming, trickery just to mention a few. - No human emotions AI simply can't human! It doesn't understand emotions, empathy, or sympathy like us. The best it could do is just predict patterns, All those self-loving and affirming messages AI gives you are total BS! Snap out of it fam 😄 -- The point is AI isn't perfect and it still has a long way to go, it can't replace humans it can only enhance us.
