The Rays seem like a cut-and-dry Will Benson trade candidate.
They have a surplus of arms right now and need some additional pop.
I’m not sure how well Mason Englert would fare in GABP… but I think it’d be an intriguing swap.
The Rays are officially last in home runs in the entire sport.
They have 3 guys over double digits, and not much else from the rest of the team. Not ideal.

Merite is someone I've been keeping an eye on (with a lot of help from @thefrilledshark passing along updates).
He showcased a nice arsenal in the WBC and has been posting some really nice SO & whiff numbers in the ACL.
Probably ready to go to Daytona sooner than later.

You'd be using his last option year (which carries trade value). I also don't his play has warranted a demotion.

One of my favorite things that seems to happen in every FYPD nowadays is the #1 overall pick somehow becoming underrated.
Willits went 1.13 (!) in one of my drafts this year. Skenes went 1.04 and was consistently behind Langford. Bazz not as much, but saw big Burns discounts.

I don’t want to alarm anyone, but Khristian Curtis might be the 2nd best pitching prospect to come through the Pirates’ system lately.
This is better than Ashcraft looked in AAA and he’s a real pitcher unlike Chandler.
Kind of a lower-velo Schlittler profile, with a legit CH.

Khristian Curtis has genuinely unreal stuff. 10 Ks 19 whiffs tonight in 5.2 innings. 0 ER.
Can spin the hell out of the ball, around 2500 RPMs on every pitch. Gets good extension and his fastball sits 96-98 resulting in around -4 VAA, 6 whiffs tonight. Elite cutter and slider.
