Good morning!
In India, relationships are not defined only by blood, some are born purely from love.
I call him Uncle, and he calls me ‘bitiya’ - his daughter.
He has one of the kindest hearts I know.
Today is his 80th birthday, and with his permission, I wanted to share a portrait I created of him a few years ago.
Happy 80th Birthday, Uncle. Love you and I am so grateful for you.

Good night!
The Blue Moon wasn’t blue at all. It rose from behind the mountain in a deep orange glow, and watching it emerge was a spectacular experience.
While I did photograph the moon on its own, I also wanted to capture the outline of the mountain and the glow that seemed to fill the entire sky around it.
So I used an in-camera double exposure to recreate what it actually felt like standing there and witnessing the moonrise.
