According to @ReducingRiskDA approx 25% of LGBTQ people have experienced #domesticabuse from partners/ex-partners. @GalopUK found that 61% of #survivors did not seek #support & 41% not knowing support was available.

I’m in sticker duty for @ReducingRiskDA today @oxfordpride! Oxford has the UK’s third largest ‘non straight’ community and the UK’s largest trans and non-binary population outside of London, but a disproportionate number of LGBTQ access domestic abuse support 💜

“Research shows that antenatal domestic abuse predicts future behaviour problems at 3.5 years old, and low birth weight and prematurity”. DA can have physical impacts in babies’ bodies through seeing or hearing - this research and understanding is so important. #RtRChamps20
