I am a realist, results-focused Democratic candidate, running to represent District 17 (Rockville & Gaithersburg) in Maryland’s House of Delegates. In recent years, we have seen Marylanders priced out, and leaving the state in droves. Our bills are soaring, the state is increasing fees across the board, and now this folly of a war has jacked up fuel prices on top of everything else. Right now we have leaders who are more focused on being obstinate, or worse actively fighting for regressive policies. At each event this campaign cycle, I’ve seen my competitors spend majority of their time spouting glittering generalities, and mudslinging. If that is the energy they’re bringing to Annapolis, it’s no wonder Maryland is backsliding. According to U.S. News & World Report, nationally Maryland ranks: • 42 in Affordability • 45 in Transportation • 48 in Economic Growth • 35 in Public Safety As Marylanders, we don’t have to passively accept the degrading quality of our home. If you want someone who is going to focus solely on their constituents, if you want someone who won’t waste time playing into party politics, if you want someone who’s only concern is improving the quality of Maryland, then vote Reed for Delegate at the polls this month. Let’s turn things around together. #ReedForDelegate #LocalPolitics #Rockville #Gaithersburg

Our community deserves leadership that listens, common sense solutions, and commitment to building a stronger future. I'm running for Delegate because I believe in: 🏛 Reform-focused leadership 🏠Greater affordability 💵 Lower taxes 🚗 Rebuilding our roads and bridges Together, we can keep Montgomery County moving forward. Let's build a better tomorrow, right here at home.

Marylanders should be able to see exactly what every cent of our tax dollars are spent on. There needs to be transparency on all accounting. More importantly, explicit justification for cent, there should be no irregularities or questionable spending.
Maryland's state government is hemorrhaging taxpayer money. Recent audits reveal over $1.2 billion in questionable spending and financial irregularities. The big question from some lawmakers and taxpayer advocates: Will the state be able to fix its broken systems? Spotlight reporter @TessaBentulan is investigating: foxbaltimore.com/spotlight-o…

We gotta get $$ out of politics, especially out of local & state. 😡😡😡😡
One of the most astounding things about the hearing in Frederick yesterday about the data center referendum was how many lawyers the data center lobby employed to keep the residents of Fredrick county from having a say in the matter. Seemed like 20 or 30 lawyers.

Our system is failing when our streets look like this. It is a choice to let our cities deteriorate.

🚨BREAKING🚨 This is Belfast migrant stabbing victim, Stephen Ogilvie. It’s understood today that doctors have now placed him in an induced coma but have said that ‘Stephen is a fighter’ 💚 He has tragically lost his left eye and socket, with surgeons operating twice to rebuild his nose and save his right eye. Surgeons also had to frantically intervene to rescue his throat and neck. Medics are now focusing on reducing the swelling to his face. Please take a moment to say a prayer for Stephen, his family and the medical team who are saving his life 🙏🇮🇪

Our schools aren’t being invested in properly. MCPS would rather let school buildings deteriorate and wait to build large-sized schools like Crown HS, instead of keeping schools smaller, localized and properly up-kept, like teacher, parents, and students want. I stand by our schools, and teachers. I stand by @SaveWootton.
