Again. Dont bitch about a lack of original ideas when this is happening.

“They Will Kill You" earned just $5 million domestically over its opening weekend. The Warner Bros. and New Line release only cost $20 million to produce, but it’s still a rough result because studios have to split ticket sales with theater owners. bit.ly/4bFH9FJ

I sincerely doubt that Disclosure Day is the worst movie you've ever seen.

This is the best explanation ive heard for the crop circle stuff in Disclosure Day. I think there's more than meets the eye with this movie.

‘DISCLOSURE DAY’ has opened with $92.9M worldwide. The biggest opening ever for an original film from Steven Spielberg.

I would love to discuss DISCLOSURE DAY as someone who was lukewarm on but it seems like the only takes allowed are: Spielberg is the undisputed God of cinema and no negativity is allowed. OR Spielberg is a hack fraud who made an evil movie. Neither of these are interesting!

It’s true: if you need everything spoon fed to you, and can only watch a movie via plot beats you’re gonna have a bad time at DISCLOSURE DAY.

The point about the internet is totally justified. Not sure what happened there. Does make it feel like it was written years ago & they never adapted it to modern times. Curious decision no doubt. #DisclosureDay
The reason Disclosure Day isn't resonating is the whole plot revolves around using broadcast television to change the world, a concept that anyone under the age of 55 finds completely unbelievable. The movie starts with a weather woman sperging out and making weird sounds live on air and that's meant to go viral? In Australian television that's any given broadcast. In real life the network would bombard youtube with copyright take down notices, no one would ever know it happened. Then they broadcast the government secrets to the whole world on one station's rig? Why didn't they just post it online? That's never explained! It probably would have been a cool movie in 1999.

Excited for the movie, exhausted by the discourse. In Nolan We Trust. #TheOdyssey
We’re about a month away from the release of THE ODYSSEY. What are your expectations for the film? Do you think it has the potential to be considered one of Nolan’s best movies?

Ppl are doubting Steven Spielberg status as one of the GOATs of cinema because they didn’t like Disclosure Day. Like he didn’t already prove it with Jaws, Saving Private Ryan, Indiana Jones Raiders Of The Lost Ark, Close Encounters Of The Third Kind & Jurassic Park to name a few.

Ready Player One is the only situation where a film featuring alot of Easter eggs and references is completely justified.
🎮 READY PLAYER ONE (2018) "CGI slop." "IP slop." Many critics dislike Ready Player One, with the usual comments being something similar to what I wrote above. What those people don't understand is that if you feel strongly about a fandom, whether that's a game, franchise, or something else entirely, that's why I, like so many others, resonate so strongly with this movie. This is my favorite late-period Spielberg! *My kids were standing and cheering during the race and battle scenes!

gotta give him credit: there is a montage near the end of Disclosure Day where it would have been incredibly easy for Spielberg to throw in footage from Close Encounters and ET as an "easter egg" creating a dumbass shared universe, and he doesn't do it. that's why he's my king

Trailer was a banger too. #TheOdyssey
The New Trailer for #TheOdyssey that plays during #DisclosureDay on IMAX confirms that Elliot Page is NOT playing Achilles, despite what the bozos online will tell you. (Yes, there is a third, new trailer)

Sometimes zero. Theaters offer memberships that pay for themselves after two visits a month. Plus you get points you can cash in for free concessions. Its not the financial burden some people say it is. 🤷‍♂️
how much money does one trip to the cinema costs to y’all?? tickets and snacks and everything included
