An unprecedented criminal investigation has been launched against a former employee of the President’s Office who was alleged to have had an affair with @MMuizzu. She was summoned for police questioning under the Islamic penal provision on Qazf, relating to allegations of fornication. Police today attempted to deny photographers access near the premises, apparently fearing publication of her images, and refused to disclose against whom the alleged offence was committed.
