Flood mitigation work is key. More woodland/peat/rewilding on hills and uplands to slow the flow. More beavers throughout the watercourse. Every single study proves this will help farmers out, but many have been vehemently against it. Hopefully now we can all progress together.

This street will now be 10c hotter in climate heat, in floods the houses will suffer, more health problems & absent wildlife. Most streets in the uk are 1 by 1, incrementally, losing their mature trees for commerce/insurance/ 'disease' claims. Nowhere for birds. Suburban ecocide.
