🩺 Pryzm Pulse 🩺 New maturities (31 Dec 27) are slowly entering the phase where we usually see a lot of attractive trading opportunities. Pryzm Liquidity Pools are unique in how they work, so let’s briefly go through how new maturity bootstrapping on Pryzm works: 1⃣ The ultimate goal of this event is to add and balance a token’s Yield Pool with pTokens of the new maturity date. 2⃣ pTokens can’t be created out of thin air, so the bootstrapping module tries to find buyers for yTokens. 3⃣ Behind the scenes, each yToken bought creates a complementary pToken, which is then used to provide liquidity in the Yield LP. 4⃣ The module gradually decreases the yToken price until the ultimate goal is reached (balanced weight in the Yield LP) or until the bootstrapping event timer runs out. NFA, etc. But what does this event usually mean for users?
