Big thank you to the @SFGiants for hosting some of our most dedicated cleanup organizers and volunteers on #pride night. Couldn’t quite get the W, but we’re the comeback city. We take pride in keeping the environment clean, that’s just what we do. Let’s go SF! Let’s go Giants!

Back out at Ocean Beach keeping it clean with the 7th graders from The International School of SF. They are all experienced cleaners having gone out around their school in Hayes Valley to pick up litter, and today have taken their talents to the beach. Merci beaucoup!

The entire K-8 student body from Lawton Alternative School hopped on the N Judah to the end of the line. Massive cleanup force of kids, parents & SFUSD teachers deployed to Ocean Beach, Sunset Dunes, Golden Gate Park & the Outer Sunset neighborhood to pick it clean of litter.

Neighborhood cleanup are one of the most SF things you can do. This past weekend in San Francisco, 400 volunteers removed over 400 bags of trash from streets, parks, and beaches at 32 separate cleanups citywide. Being and seeing a clean city is what we're about. Join in!

These Thank You notes from students at The Hamlin School and Rooftop School were very motivating. These “little street clean-ups” are a small thing that has inspired 20,000 unique volunteers to remove over 130,000 gallons of litter pollution from San Francisco streets.

It’s @Deloitte Impact Day and we hosted two cleanups to make a big impact on the environment. Cleanup in FiDi at YesSF in partnership with Good Neighbor Lab and First Lady of SF Becca Prowda. Then this big group cleaned SOMA from Beale to 4th St collecting this massive haul.

Nice little group of volunteers on a sunny Thursday afternoon in San Francisco at the One Richmond Cleanup on Clement St. Half new, half returning. From early 20s to senior, been in SF for a couple months to born & raised. All coming together to keep our pretty city clean!

Out clearing medians of weeds again this morning, cleaned out 5 of them at the chain of islands on Masonic at Euclid/Bush. The Masonic Cleanup crew is out here consistently every Wednesday, allowing us to do more and clean further afield. Join us!

This last weekend in May in San Francisco, 450 neighbors cleared 460 bags of litter from the local environment. Over the past 5 years, volunteers have removed over 130,000 gallons of trash, enough to fill two Olympic-sized swimming pools. But we still want an even cleaner SF!

Thank you for the support and thanks to all the volunteers!
I love this X account. If you live in SF and love the city, you should follow @RefuseRefuseSF and the X account is just slinging bangers

Ocean Beach Cleanup with 8th graders from Town School. These boys hustled and removed a ton of litter from the beach, then used the @5gyres TrashBlitz app to log branded litter. @sea_hugger_org was also out cleaning with @rothys and we were cleaning up in tandem. 🙌🏾

Good morning San Francisco! Nice group of people at the Sunset Walking Club Cleanup. The walking club meets every Friday from 730-830am at Lincoln & 25th in GGP and we partner on a cleanup on the last Friday of the month. 4 full bags, just another walk in the park.

3rd year in a row cleaning up Washington Square Park and the surrounding neighborhood in North Beach with the team from @BankofAmerica. The @RecParkSF Gardner said we saved her 2 hours of work cleaning and a @RecologySF truck was emptying trash cans and took our bags away.

Morning cleanup with the team from @aao_ophth who came out to North Beach to pick up litter. The neighborhood is looking better thanks to the weekly cleanup on Saturdays at Luke’s Local, but lots of cups, napkins, wrappers, pizza boxes, and a gazillion cigarette butts.

A productive and educational cleanup today this 1st grade class from The Hamlin School who have been learning about how pollution harms marine ecosystems. They got to experience the difference they can make and removed hundreds of pieces of litter from Crissy Field East Beach.

This past Memorial Day Weekend, 420 volunteers were compelled to serve by removing 460 bags of litter from our environment, one piece at a time. We pay respect to those that made the ultimate sacrifice for our country with our own small act of service to the community.

These medians along Fulton St next to Golden Gate Park were annoying, so went out and cleared them of weeds and dirt. It’s a small thing, but a lot of little acts like this add to the overall beauty of San Francisco.

Great crew of returning volunteers and new ones who’ve joined our Trashy Community at the Rise & Grind Cleanup. These small regular cleanups are doing wonders for neighborhoods, but always striving for more places, frequency, and volunteers to help keep SF clean!

3 consecutive school cleanups today: First, 2nd/3rd graders at Rooftop School hiked up and cleaned Twin Peaks. Then, 7th graders at The International School of SF cleaned Hayes Valley. Last, high schoolers at Burton HS cleaned along Mansell in Portola. Easy as ABC & 123.
