I'm sitting in my hotel room and it's almost midnight. Maybe I'm being over dramatic, but: 1) The Mariners are injured, and we (likely) won't see Randy Arozarena tomorrow 2) It's getaway day on a 10-game road trip. Everyone will be eager to get home. 3) The Nationals are starting a LHP opener in an effort to screw with you. 4) It's going to be 94 degrees and humid. Dan Wilson is constantly praising this team's grit and fight. It feels like the M's have to dig deep tomorrow and show it off in order to get this series, which feels big. Victor Robles just grounded into a DP, and didn't even run to first. Limping. Not sure what is hurting him, but we'll find out after the game - and we'll see if he plays defense B8.

Josh Naylor just missed a pickof attempt at first base, and CJ Abrams scored, though the error was charged to Bazardo. The Nationals then ran on a steal attempt and scored from first on a single to CF. They are running everywhere today.

Home cooking but that was quickly called a hit and I didn't think it was even close to a hit.

Looks like some more home cooking. Colt Emerson couldn't make a play ranging to his right and a run scores. It's 6-3. Sloppy game defensively.
