Curiously she has an English edition of the Selected Works of Kim Il Sung, suggesting possible proficiency in the language. Her rectangular portrait badge of Kim Il Sung in his marshal uniform is also noteworthy, as well as her singular plastic Military Merit ribbon and early variant Red Flag Company unit badge.

Rare footage captures the brutal fighting as U.S. Marines of the 1st Marine Division faced massive Chinese People's Volunteer Army assaults in the freezing winter of 1950.
Chinese infantry surge across frozen ridgelines in human wave attacks, while Marines hold defensive positions with rifles, machine guns, and M26 Pershing tanks. Overhead, F4U Corsairs roar in to deliver vital close air support to Marines fighting against overwhelming odds.
One of the greatest stands in Marine Corps history.
