I’d actually be fine if boomers stopped paying property taxes if they agreed to forfeit their home when they died. No selling allowed or you pay back taxes with interest. Seems logical enough to me.

People keep acting like rising property taxes are automatically justified because “schools and services need funding,” but a lot of people look around and do not feel like the government is managing the money it already gets very well.
Meanwhile an older couple can stay in the exact same house for 30 years, change nothing about their lifestyle, and still get hit with a higher tax bill because the area around them got expensive.
That is not the same thing as being able to afford more.

I’m sure I’m not the only person to have this thought, but when I look at a “bad” start by a pitcher I look to see if they gave up more than 4 earned runs & if they pitched less than 5 innings. Idk what to call it, but to me it’s a double loss. You lost the game & killed the pen
