On 15 June 1999, Irish singer Stephen Gately was forced to publicly come out as gay after receiving an ultimatum from the tabloid press. A member of the band Boyzone and just 23 years old at the time, Gately came out in The Sun newspaper, revealing that he was “gay and in love”. While it initially seemed as though he chose to come out of his own accord, it was later revealed that a member of the band’s crew had threatened to sell the story to the press. Shane Lynch, one of Gately’s bandmates, revealed on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in 2018 that the other members of Boyzone always knew Stephen was gay and understood why he wasn’t out publicly. “There’s an understanding amongst celebrities, whatever you call it, but he was meant to be dating Baby Spice and all that stuff. It’s just red herrings,” he said. Lynch went on to explain the events that led to Gately coming out, saying, “We were in Germany on tour and we got a phone call to say the press were going to run with a story on him. According to TMZ, on October 16th, about an hour before the tragedy, Rogelio Nores was seen leaving CasaSur, at 16:12, based on the CCTV footage they provided. In a separate article, TMZ claimed that he left at 16:04. In the TMZ documentary, Rogelio himself stated that he left between 16:00 and 16:05. Meanwhile, a BBC article reported that Nores left the hotel approximately 40 minutes before the incident - which would suggest he left around 16:27. So, the question remains: when did he actually leave the hotel? Or maybe a better question would be - did he leave at all? There is also a testimony from a first-floor guest, who reported that when he went to the reception to alert the staff about the fall, he ran into Nores who was stepping out of the elevator and heading to the parking area. This can mean one thing - Rogelio was there when it happened. Something that should have been a simple question - when did he step outside the hotel? - now has way too many inconsistent answers. ⁉️ Liam’s check-out ⁉️ Something about Liam’s check-out date just doesn’t add up (like the rest of the case, actually). Nahiomy and Brett allegedly arrived at CasaSur Hotel on October 15th (according to Rolling Stone). Liam, meanwhile, had arrived at the hotel on October 13th around midnight. According to the hotel’s email, Liam was supposed to stay in room 110, but for reasons that remain unclear, he ended up in room 310, the suite Nahiomy and Brett had booked. Nahiomy and Brett, in turn, ended up in room 110, which was supposed to be Liam’s. If Brett and Nahiomy checked in on the 15th, that means they were already in room 110 by the 16th. Rebecca, one of the wedding guests, said that: “(On the 16th) One of my friends (aka Brett and Nahiomy) was due to get his suite, so the hotel staff were a little on edge because he (Liam) still hadn’t checked out at 4:30 PM.” Which means Brett and Nahiomy were waiting for Liam’s room to check into. But… didn’t they already check in on the 15th (if the 15th story is even true)? One more thing: according to an email from CasaSur, Liam’s manager (Roger) had booked a suite from Monday the 14th to Friday the 18th. Maya is pure evil...and I am glad so many people opened their eyes to her lies and manipulation. No one seeks "justice" on TT..especially when she brags her dad is a lawyer and she comes from money. Not once did she go to the police or apply fora restraining order. Not once did she show any EVIDENCE, even though she brags she has plenty. If you had plenty and he did email you and text you and other things, then you could have applied for a restraining order. Or the very least contacted the police. Also the manipulation, knowing that he got bullied for years and that so many people online would turn against him. That is why she posted that video about Z to gather attention. That had nothing to do with DV at all. There is evidence that she tried several times to insert herself back into his life and gain attention. She even admitted she wanted the book to be a tv show or movie. She was doing this because she thought "being" with him was going to finally give her fame. When that didn't happen she did the smear campaign. She wanted to run his career, turn everyone against him and push him over the edge. She even was in contact with Roger, who was at one time charged.
