As a genealogist I would be lost without this skill - which seems like a dying art. #RT if you feel this should be in your local school curriculum.

#NeverForget Trump’s comments about our fallen soldiers: During Trump’s Memorial Day visit to the grave of John Kelly’s son in 2017, who was killed in Afghanistan, Trump asked why anyone would serve in the military. “I don’t get it. What was in it for them?” During a trip to France in 2018, it was reported that Trump didn’t want to visit a cemetery where service members were buried to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. Why? The bad weather might “mess up his hair.” He also said the cemetery was “filled with losers,” and that the 1800 Marines who were buried there were “suckers” for getting killed at the Battle of Belleau Wood. Trump also complained about lowering the American flags after Sen. John McCain’s death because McCain “was a f___/ing loser.” Our fallen service members deserved so much better than him. Our current service members and our veterans deserve so much better than him once again.

I was always the curious one and people offered me family info early. Then came Roots. Alex Haley researched quite a bit at our local Kettering and Dayton libraries. We had a high school class that I aced. Years later, the Internet blew open research-and I became an addict!
When and why did you get interested in #Genealogy? RT and share the start of your #genealogical adventure!

What advantage did this location offer the French or Indians? Was there a purpose in their minds as to the logic of this attack??
Do you have questions for @JamesLSwanson for his upcoming talk I am moderating for @AncestorExperts on his amazing book The Deerfield Massacre? RT and reply and we will try to get to yours!

Good program, though I look forward to the recording. I missed 10 minutes after getting home from work... then needed to update my Zoom app! But it was a very interesting topic! Thank you, James and @DLGenealogist.

Holy cow. Seth Meyers spent 90 seconds on his show last night reminding his viewers everything that Donald Trump has said I done & it is absolutely perfect. This is how it’s done & we need so much more of it. Watch & share this.

BRILLIANT! If you have not read Eric Swalwell's questions to Hunter Biden during his hearing, you have to. SWALWELL: Any time your father was in government, prior to the Presidency or before, did he ever operate a hotel? BIDEN: No, he has never operated a hotel. SWALWELL: So he’s never operated a hotel where foreign nationals spent millions at that hotel while he was in office? BIDEN: No, he has not. SWALWELL: Did your father ever employ in the Oval Office any direct family member to also work in the Oval Office? BIDEN: My father has never employed any direct family members, to my knowledge. SWALWELL: While your father was President, did anyone in the family receive 41 trademarks from China? BIDEN: No. SWALWELL: As President and the leader of the party, has your father ever tried to install as the chairperson of the party a daughter-in-law or anyone else in the family? BIDEN: No. And I don’t think that anyone in my family would be crazy enough to want to be the chairperson of the DNC. SWALWELL: Has your father ever in his time as an adult been fined $355 million by any State that he worked in? BIDEN: No, he has not, thank God. SWALWELL: Anyone in your family ever strike a multibillion dollar deal with the Saudi Government while your father was in office? BIDEN: No. SWALWELL: That’s all I’ve got.

3--I want to see that "made in the USA" sticker first.

I mean "gold gym shoes" at a Sneaker "Con" is funnier than the f-bomb? This grifter w/his associated debt-this wannabe 2-timing president "w/a country for sale to the highest bidder" thinks he'll pick up 433MM (plus attorney fees) by selling $400 Kmart specials & a Go-Fund-Me?
19
1--Ok, I love irony. I think sarcasm and a droll wit is the sh!t. I hear DJT has a friend who started a Go-Fund-Me... it's picked up about 400K so far. Supposedly, it's for his legal fees...not his campaign. So, does anyone else think the unveiling of DJT's golden showers..um,

From this point forward, every time Fani Willis’s credibility is attacked, every time her personal life is made public, every time I hear the name Fani Willis, I’m going to simply respond with this: Donald Trump, as President of the United States, called Georgia’s Secretary of State and pressured him to find 11,780 votes. It’s on tape. Trump said it. He’s been indicted for it. He will be put on trial for it. He should be convicted for it. And then I’ll have a shot of tequila.
