Addahman never wrote in Punjabi and Baba Farids works in Punjabi don't have much evidence to be attributed to him and the language used in his works don't match the literary traditions in the time frame he lived
So he unironically believes this. 😭 Baba Farid was the first major poet but we do have other poets before him like Addahman (Abdul Rehman) who lived in the 11th century. Punjabi as a language existed before Baba Farid, he didn't create it out of thin air dk where u got that from

Always remember that Punjabi is a Muslim language (majority Muslim speakers) while Urdu (basically Hindustani) is mostly spoken by Hindus therefore it is not an appropriate language for Islamic Pakistan. We will make the children of Urdu speakers speak the Muslim Punjabi language
