The internet got taken down abruptly district-wide, yesterday. It was down all day today and might be tomorrow. Brings me back to teaching in the 1980βs but without a mimeograph machine. π

Testing time- This week-3 days = 155 mins/day of testing = 465 mins total for our 5 graders. Next week-3 days, 80 mins/day=total 240 mins. Grand total of 705 mins of testing or 11.75 hrs of testing over 6 days. Too much!

Why arenβt teachers seen as professionals? How professional would you see medical doctors if they had to ask patients to bring own supplies or had donations sites & clear the lists. If they had to to work two jobs just to make ends meet, and had congress & bill gates deciding how they should be evaluated.
