I must push forward today. Driven to continue to create art that is the antithesis of everything they stand for. To fight against the boundlessness of human stupidity and to be there to rejoice in its inevitable downfall.
I used to think that people were ignorant or unaware, not taking the words of historians like William Shirer seriously. But people just didn’t care. There is nothing eloquent to say.

Go to the polls and vote. The only way you get the country you want is to vote for it. Affecting indifference is self-silencing. America is not an abstract thing, it exists through your voice and participation. Vote for women’s rights and LGBTQ rights. #HarrisWalz2024
We must vote
We must fight not for the America that exist but the dream of America that we can have.
We can make America great
Not for one group but for everyone.
All of us.
We know what he will do
But what will WE do?
Vote for all of us

Tribulation continues their progression towards becoming a straight up goth rock band. They sound more like a metal Sisters of Mercy than ever (a good thing).

Putting it out there that I will be looking for blurbs and will have digital ARCs. Reach out if you are interested in reading a short general/lit-fic novel.
Do not obey in advance. Lesson 1, first page, of my pamphlet "On Tyranny"
ALT 1. Do not obey in advance. Most of the power of authoritarianism is freely given. In times like these, individuals think ahead about what a more repressive government will want, and then offer themselves without being asked. A citizen who adapts in this way is teaching power what it can do.

Underrated author you wished other people know
For me, its Izumi Suzuki. I'm obsessed with her from the first collection of stories, Terminal Boredom. She was an interesting author in the realm of science fiction genre with her own twists, creating a world she pulled of so well
