Illinois is undeniably safer - we have had fewer mass shootings and less gun violence.
We will keep making progress, and won’t let the gun industry dictate the safety of our state.👊💪

I’m still shocked that this could happen here in 2026, but I shouldn’t be.
I stand with my neighbors and colleagues - this hate can never be tolerated, and silence will only allow this hate to fester.
