I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: this bill is trash.

Bynum: I want to start off by saying just how laughable it is to be calling this bill “beautiful” and I would like to replace that word with “trash.”
It is a trash bill and here is why. It is a bill that threatens $300 billion in cuts to food assistance, it is a bill that puts health care further out of reach for nearly 14 million people. It is a bill that will make it so families have to choose between putting food on the table or filling a prescription. It is a bill that does nothing to lower costs or address the housing crisis

For 28 years, we've honored servicewomen and veterans at an annual bipartisan wreath laying.
This year, the event, traditionally at Arlington National Cemetery, was canceled because of an Executive Order from Trump banning 'diversity events.’
So today we honored servicewomen outside the Capitol, laying a wreath in honor of their contributions and sacrifices to the United States.
We will continue to recognize and fight for the inclusion of women in the armed services & for our veterans.
