On this day in 1983, 100 Million Americans tuned in to watch The Day After. This apocalyptic TV movie was a graphic depiction of what would happen if the USA and Russia started firing nuclear weapons at each other.

Happy 93rd birthday to the Say Hey Kid, Willie Mays.The only MLB player to have 3,000 hits, 300 average, 300 stolen bases, 300 homers..660 to be exact. Grew up rooting for the Yankees, one of my flaws, but always a huge Willie Mays fan.
