I sent out my latest e-newsletter on Friday -- make sure you check it out to see which schools I stopped at this year for Read Across America Day, and for the details on my office's next events. pahouse.com/Delloso/InTheNew…
Last night, we lost a PA State Trooper in the line of duty. Corporal Timothy O’Connor Jr. dedicated himself to keeping people safe & made the ultimate sacrifice doing it. We are forever in gratitude to him & his family for his courage and commitment to protecting his community.
The new opportunities listed on my Grants page include funding to develop or rehabilitate parks, trails, and open spaces; to analyze water quality; to implement flood mitigation programs; to create rental housing for low-income households, and more: pahouse.com/Delloso/grants
This is a day to honor those lost to one of humanity’s darkest chapters and reflect on the cost of hatred left unchecked. Remembering isn’t passive; it means staying alert to the erosion of truth and human dignity. Choosing courage over silence is how we stand up for one another.
Wishing you all a Happy New Year! Here's to an exciting 2026 for the people of the 162nd District. I'll do whatever I can to help make it a good year for you all.
Merry Christmas! I'm grateful to represent a community that looks out for one another and lends a hand where it's needed, all year long. Wishing you peace and joy today and in the year ahead.
I have two updates to share before my office closes in observance of Christmas today through Fri, Dec. 26.
First, my latest e-newsletter contains an update on legislation that would strengthen our workplace discrimination and harassment law: pahouse.com/Delloso/InTheNew… (cont.)
Veterans' health is one of the issues addressed in the bills we approved in this week’s voting meeting of the PA House Intergovernmental Affairs & Operations Committee, making them eligible for consideration by the full chamber. (Continued)
I’d like to reiterate my gratitude to Air Force Lt. Colonel Jay Ostrich, a Combat Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom & Operation Enduring Freedom who benefits from SGB therapy and now continues his career in service as Director of Berks County Dept. of Veterans Affairs… (Cont.)
I just posted new grant opportunities from several state agencies, including Senior Community Center Grants from the Dept. of Aging and school safety & mental health grants from the @PaCrimeComm. Find them here: pahouse.com/Delloso/grants
I'm sharing some tips from the VA for helping servicemembers with PTSD, PTSI, or TBI feel at ease during busy holiday gatherings. Your efforts to create warmth and support for the veterans in your life this holiday season don’t go unnoticed. Thank you for making a difference.
I toured the Sheet Metal Workers Local 19 Training Center in Philly to hear about the growing success of its Apprenticeship programs. The new state budget invests in Apprenticeship programs like these because union jobs lead to good careers, stable futures, & strong communities.
