Butt recently endorsed Kleberg, but Kleberg also got money from 2 other donors who usually back Republicans: Ray Hunt ($25K) & Julianna Holt ($25K).

More than 6 months ago, my office sent 2 letters to the Texas Military Department asking for action on #OperationLoneStar after multiple Guardsmen died by suicide.
We were met with silence and inaction.
Our Guardsmen deserve better.

There is new leadership at TMD that appears committed to the troops, but we need action more than words.

Today is my daughter Katherine's 10th birthday.
She understands that I wouldn't miss 240 dinners this past year with her and her sisters if it weren't important.
She is kind, bright and fierce when she needs to be. I want a brighter future for her. Her wish is that you do too.
