While holding the White House and Congress, what have Republicans done with their power to serve you?
Cut BadgerCare and sabotage the ACA.
Wisconsinites will lose their health care because of their callousness. wisconsinexaminer.com/briefs…
Republicans like Tom Tiffany are defending their voucher scheme by pointing to MPS test scores.
But how does diverting public dollars into private schools help our students?

Especially when students in both charter and public schools are struggling??
We need to make stronger investments in our public schools, especially in underserved areas, not tear the public system down.
At a time when Republicans are cutting funding from under-resourced public schools, Congress should be investing in public education—not funneling taxpayer dollars to the wealthy. Today, @BobbyScott spoke in support of @RepGwenMoore’s Keep Public Funds in Public Schools Act.
Republicans gutted public education in Arizona to fund private school vouchers. Now they want to export that failure nationwide through a private school voucher tax credit.
Today, with @RepGwenMoore, I introduced the Keep Public Dollars in Public Schools Act to repeal this giveaway and keep public dollars in public schools where they belong.
Last year, Republicans snuck through a harmful school voucher program in their Big, Ugly Bill. We need to invest in all students by supporting public education! I'm proud to introduce the Keep Public Funds in Public Schools Act with @RepGwenMoore to repeal this shady tax scheme.
A little known fact about the Republicans’ Big Ugly Bill is that it creates a national voucher program.
Their voucher scheme helps funnel taxpayer dollars into private schools, including religious schools, which lack accountability, transparency, and civil rights protections.
According to the latest trustees report, in 6 years, seniors who paid into Social Security could see cuts to their earned benefits.
This isn’t inevitable.
While Republicans want to sabotage and even cut Social Security, Democrats are working to expand and protect this lifeline.
Republicans like Trump don’t work for you.
They serve billionaires and don’t care if their policies make your life harder and more expensive.
Now they’re finally being honest about it.
Republicans don't want to talk about Trump's $1.8 billion slush fund or his lifetime get-out-of-audits-free card.
That's exactly why they keep trying to silence Democrats who are demanding answers.
@RepGwenMoore:
Congress should not give billions to an agency that continues to ignore the Constitution and that abuses and kills Americans in our streets.
Our communities are calling for real reforms.

If Republicans have their way, they’re pledging to cut to Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security next year.
While they give tax cuts to billionaires, they're putting your health care on the chopping block.
Again.
What Republicans promised: lower prices and a booming economy.
What Republicans delivered: higher prices, war in the Middle East, and financial uncertainty for working Americans.

Salah is a pillar in the community and is being detained by ICE for his advocacy for Palestinians.
Now, his health is declining as he remains in ICE custody. It is deeply concerning to me.
I sent a letter to Sec. Rubio and Sec. Mullin, pressing for answers regarding his health and well-being and calling for his release.

Trump doesn’t trouble himself thinking about your financial situation.
He does, however, fret over ensuring violent rioters receive billion dollar payouts from your tax dollars. nbcnews.com/politics/donald-…
Trump’s policies are driving up the cost of living, but @SecScottBessent wants us to take solace that inflation is a “blip” and we all just need to take it on the chin until we “get to the other side of this.” I would love to see a timeline on that.
Republicans are trying to deny support to moms and children who need daycare, and target so-called “blue states,” instead of supporting real oversight.
“Waste, fraud and abuse” is only a talking point for Republicans.
If Republicans were serious about tackling waste, fraud, and abuse, they'd block Trump from pardoning fraudsters and wiping out billions owed to victims and taxpayers.
Instead, they're attacking programs that support children and families.
@RepGwenMoore:
Led by DWC members @RepDebDingell and @RepGwenMoore , we are calling on DHS to stop putting immigrant women who are survivors of domestic violence in danger.
ICE detained survivors after they asked for help. This silences victims, prevents women from accessing critical services, and lets abusers off the hook.
We are urging DHS to restore visa protections for survivors, so that every woman can seek safety without fear of deportation & every abuser is held accountable.
