The FY27 Agriculture bill reflects simple principles: Invest in American farmers. Invest in American research. Invest in American nutrition. Invest in American communities. Invest in American food security. And stop funding programs that fail to deliver results.

America's competitive edge starts with our ability to produce, innovate, and lead. The FY27 Agriculture bill invests in research, animal and plant health programs, and investments that help producers succeed while cutting wasteful spending elsewhere.

Over the past year, the @TheJusticeDept has made great strides in combatting the flow of deadly drugs, like fentanyl, and taking down some of the most notorious drug cartel bosses. @DAGToddBlanche shared key updates during our CJS oversight hearing today.
Safe communities are the foundation of a strong nation. Our FY27 CJS bill upholds the critical work @TheJusticeDept and law enforcement across the nation provide. Because, as @DAGToddBlanche reiterates, reducing violent crime and confronting bad actors are critical priorities.

This week on Capitol Hill, we've been honoring our brave law enforcement officers at the federal, state and local levels during National Police Week. We are standing firm in our support for the men and women who serve and protect our communities. Last year, more than 100 law enforcement officers across the country were killed in the line of duty. Our officers deserve the utmost support, and I was proud to help advance federal legislation that provides the tools necessary to make our neighborhoods safer, including my subcommittee's federal funding bill for Commerce, Justice, Science in 2027. Read more about the pro-law enforcement bills that we passed in the U.S. House of Representatives: halrogers.house.gov/press-re…
