This week on Capitol Hill, we've been honoring our brave law enforcement officers at the federal, state and local levels during National Police Week. We are standing firm in our support for the men and women who serve and protect our communities. Last year, more than 100 law enforcement officers across the country were killed in the line of duty. Our officers deserve the utmost support, and I was proud to help advance federal legislation that provides the tools necessary to make our neighborhoods safer, including my subcommittee's federal funding bill for Commerce, Justice, Science in 2027. I was proud to host the @NASAArtemis II Integrity Astronauts on Capitol Hill yesterday to celebrate their successful trip around the moon, flying farther into space than anyone in U.S. history. Their mission inspired our entire nation to dream bigger and invest in greater opportunities for future generations. As Chairman of Commerce, Justice, Science, our subcommittee was proud to support the Artemis II mission.
