This government is complicit in the abuse and the ongoing obstruction of justice. The people in the Situation Room need to be focused on the unlawful and unconstitutional war this President has dragged us into — not damage control for pedophiles. The survivors deserve justice. The American people deserve answers. And we will not stop fighting until we get them.

CHINGA. LA. MIGRA. Republicans just voted to give ICE $70 BILLION. Not to lower costs. Not to make healthcare more affordable. Not to make life easier for our working families. But to Trump's henchmen – an agency that has done nothing but terrorize our communities, kill innocent Americans, traumatize children, and tear families apart. I voted HELL NO.

Here we go again. My Republican colleagues just held another hearing attacking the Southern Poverty Law Center for supposedly “manufacturing hate.” But when it comes to the very real hate groups fueling racism, violence, and extremism across this country, suddenly they have nothing to say. Instead of confronting the people spreading hate, they’re attacking the people tracking it. Spare me the theatrics.

Republicans need to do their job and stop bowing down to the deranged man in the Oval Office. While millions of Americans are struggling to afford groceries, rent, and gas, MAGA Republicans are busy handing Trump's ICE gang $70 BILLION, rewarding J6 rioters with your taxpayer dollars, and helping Trump and his billionaire buddies get even richer. You deserve better than this nonsense.

After nearly three months of playing games, Republicans finally joined Democrats to support a War Powers Resolution and push back on Trump's illegal, dangerous, and expensive war with Iran. Our service members have sacrificed enough — and the American people should not be forced to bankroll an unauthorized war while they're trying to afford groceries, gas, rent, and healthcare. It's time to end this war. Now.

When the Supreme Court repeatedly attacks voting rights and bends over backwards to a wannabe king, we should call it what it is. This Court is racist, corrupt….and the American people deserve better.

Inflation has hit the highest level in THREE years. Gas prices are up. Food costs are up. Working Americans are struggling to make ends meet. Meanwhile, Trump is focused on turning the White House into a UFC venue, and pushing for a commemorative $250 bill with his face on it. People are struggling to survive, and this administration is acting like they are filming an episode of a reality show. You deserve better.

Three federal judges stepped in and blocked Alabama Republicans from using yet another congressional map designed to weaken Black representation.   The fact that Black voters are still having to fight this hard for fair representation in 2026 is outrageous. Republicans need to spend less time trying to dilute Black voting power and more time doing the jobs they were elected to do.

On Memorial Day, we honor the brave servicemembers who answered the call and never made it back home. My heart goes out to your loved ones. Thank you for your sacrifice, service, and strength. We will never forget what they gave for this country.

We still haven’t had a real hearing on the rise of white supremacist violence, the lives lost, or the extremist groups empowered by dangerous Republican rhetoric. But somehow, Republicans found time to hold a hearing claiming the Southern Poverty Law Center is “manufacturing hate.” Meanwhile, they’re defending an almost $2 billion taxpayer-funded slush fund that could put money in the pockets of January 6 extremists — including people tied to white supremacist groups that attacked our democracy. Y’all can miss me with the performative outrage.

Working families are struggling to afford groceries, gas, rent, and healthcare — taxpayers should not be forced to bankroll political revenge tours and payouts for Donald Trump and his cronies. That’s why I introduced the STOP TRUMP Act — to make it clear that taxpayer dollars are not a personal slush fund for presidents, political loyalists, or extremists who participated in an attack on our democracy.

They swear they care about “waste, fraud, and abuse” — meanwhile Trump is trying to turn $1.7 BILLION in taxpayer money into a MAGA slush fund for his loyalists. J6 rioters and people accused of crimes like assaulting police officers and lying to Congress could get rewarded while working families — struggling to put food on the table, fill up their gas tanks, and make ends meet — foot the bill. This is corruption in broad daylight.

The American people are watching the courts abandon precedent, ignore the Constitution, and bend over backwards to give Donald Trump whatever he wants. Every ruling like this further erodes people’s faith in institutions that are supposed to be independent, credible, and grounded in the law.

It quite literally couldn’t be clearer that this man does not care about you. “Not even a little bit” — his words, not mine. Working families are struggling to pay for groceries, keep the lights on, and fill up their gas tanks…and he couldn’t care less. You deserve better.

Referring to the highest-ranking Democrat in the House — who is also a Black man — using white supremacist, slavery-era language is NOT acceptable. Full stop. The lows this Congress continues to sink to are historic. Some people are determined to try and drag us backwards through both their rhetoric and legislation, but the reality is WE ARE NOT GOING. If folks actually knew their history, they’d remember the Confederates lost — and will keep losing.
