There is nothing ordinary about the American flag. Every stripe and every star tells a story of courage, perseverance, and faith. On Flag Day, we remember the cost of the freedom it represents.

Last session, I voted “yes” on a bill that will guarantee qualifying students access to an advanced math education. Our students deserve access to all levels of curriculum and I am proud we are continuing to make Tennessee the best in the nation for education opportunities.

Tennessee has built 186 miles of water and sewer lines under @GovBillLee, almost the straight-line distance from the Bass Pro Pyramid to the State Capitol. That's a real infrastructure investment for our communities.

Strong infrastructure creates stronger communities. 💪 During @GovBillLee’s administration, TNECD's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program has funded 186 miles of water and sewer lines across the state, a distance longer than the 181 miles between the Tennessee State Capitol in Nashville and Neyland Stadium in Knoxville. These investments are supporting economic opportunity, improving quality of life and strengthening infrastructure for Tennesseans across the state. 👏 #SoundsLikeTN

Congratulations to the graduating Class of 2026. As a former educator, I understand the hours of work that goes into obtaining that piece of paper. Education opens up a whole new world of possibilities, and I am proud to see so many in Shelby County reaching for new heights.
