My House Bill 2455, which would give Pittsburgh Public Schools administrators the right to collectively bargain, advanced from the House Labor & Industry Committee today! Administrators deserve to fight for a better environment for themselves and the students they serve.

Ensuring that all working Pennsylvanians have healthcare coverage is a win for worker recruitment & retention. My bill that would create a tax credit for small businesses that support insurance for their employees was approved in committee and now goes to the full #PAHouse.

Nobody should feel they have to choose between healthcare and life's necessities, especially hardworking Pennsylvanians. The #PaHouse Finance Committee held a hearing on my bill that would help small businesses offer access to affordable, quality healthcare coverage for workers.

It was great to see so many people at this year's Disability and Mental Health Summit. This is such an important event started by my predecessor, former state Rep. Dan Miller, that helps educate and connect our most vulnerable neighbors with programs and services.

The South Hills Futures Fair is tonight! Come out to Castle Shannon Memorial Fire Hall to learn about special education planning resources and hear special performances from Band Together Pittsburgh! My office will be closing at 4 p.m. today to prepare for the fair.
