On this day 37 years ago, brave Chinese students peacefully protested for freedom and democracy in Tiananmen Square. The Chinese Communist Party answered with tanks and violence, killing hundreds and wounding countless others. The CCP may censor history, but it cannot erase the truth. We remember the victims of the Tiananmen Square Massacre and stand with freedom-loving people everywhere who continue to resist tyranny and fight for liberty.

Today, the Select Committee honored the legacy of the June 4, 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre, and the courageous survivors who still face transnational repression from the CCP 37 years later.
