Late May and early June mean field trip season at the Capitol! It’s always a pleasure to welcome students, parents, and teachers from across our district to Madison. I really enjoy answering questions and explaining how government operates.

This is a massive problem for millennials and Gen Z that I specifically advocated about while serving in the Legislature, and it goes beyond just buying your first home to start building equity and wealth. Cost of living issues and inflation from the Biden Administration continues to haunt younger generations to the point when even working 2 or 3 jobs, you can’t get ahead, or worse you barely get by for decades of your adult life. Democrats own these disasters like the 400-year veto. Literally the Governor said to just “deal with it.” Democrats could literally not be more out of touch with the issues facing hard working Wisconsinites!

It’s National Dairy Month!! Throughout the month of June, Dairy Breakfasts and Breakfast on the Farms will be taking place all around the state to showcase this important industry. After the parades pass, the moments of silence end, and the ceremonies have drawn to a close, may we remember that the blessings of American life were purchased at extraordinary cost; a cost paid by generations of American soldiers. It is they who give Memorial Day its meaning.

Democrats would have you believe that cuts to fish stocking programs are a result of budget cuts. Since 2021, funding for the DNR has increased by more than $134 million. This isn’t a funding problem; it’s an administrative problem.

For 40 years, smog from Illinois has forced SE WI drivers into emissions testing. Yesterday, I was proud to stand with @RepBryanSteil, @RepGrothman, & @RepTiffany as they introduced their bill to bring commonsense change. Watch ⬇️

China, Russia, and Iran want us dead. Republicans passed a bill to stop WI from doing business with companies tied to our enemies. Once again, Democrats opposed it and Tony Evers vetoed it quietly on Good Friday.

Evers and the Democrats weren’t done with their assault on law enforcement. In vetoing AB 750, Tony Evers picked bureaucratic policies over police. This bill would have helped train more firefighters, EMTs, and police.

When law enforcement asked for tools to protect our communities, Democrats said no. They don’t stand for law enforcement; they just stand in the way. That’s why many legislative Democrats voted against AB 629 and Tony Evers vetoed it.
