It is with great sadness that I mourn the passing of President and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County Michael Johnson. My heart and my prayers remain with Mr. Johnson’s family, friends, loved ones, and community in this time of grief. (1/7)

In December 2023, Mr. Johnson awarded me the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County Champion for Children Award for my support of Wisconsin children, and in February 2026, he presented me with a Boys & Girls Clubs of America Lifetime Membership. (6/7)

This past Saturday, I had the pleasure to attend the Public Health Madison & Dane County Violence Prevention Unit's Wear Orange Event held at Centro Hispano in South Madison.
As Co-Chair of the Coalition on Gun Safety, I will continue to prioritize efforts to end gun violence.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure to attend the Juneteenth flag-raising ceremony at the City County Building, to kick off the city's annual Juneteenth observance.
It was an honor to participate in and witness such a monumental event.
