Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to everyone who showed up for yesterday’s Job Fair. From the 50 vendors, to the hundreds of prospective employees, and the awesome team at Harris-Stowe, I’m proud of what we accomplished.
Republicans and President Trump continue to deny workers and unions the rights they deserve.
Growing up in a Union household, I was proud to support legislation that will help strengthen worker protections and ensure employers can’t delay or undermine workers’ abilities to secure a union contract.
🚨My second annual Job Fair is TOMORROW! Join us to meet over 50 employer organizations, get your resume reviewed by a panel of experts, and learn best tax practices from Taxpayer Advocate Service.
Register before spots fill up!

I just asked Bill Gates questions in the Oversight Committee interview. Tough questions, but necessary ones. @OversightDems won’t stop fighting until we bring justice to the victims and survivors of Jeffrey Epstein.
This is absurd. Trump “loves the inflation” ?!?
So he loves that working families are paying more for gas, health care, and other basic needs? He loves putting strains on the American people, who he is supposed to be serving, because he “loves the inflation” ?!?
Naw, Trump just loves Trump 🙄

Last week, I spoke with the Postal Regulatory Commission about how to address the mail delays we’ve all been experiencing in the St. Louis region.
Commissioner Poling said she agreed that more accountability was needed if we want to see real change.
That’s why I introduced the STL “Up to PAR” Act to require USPS to report directly to Congress on if the fixes they have promised are being delivered on.
Today, after months of talks with HRSA, my office was informed that a local Federally Qualified Health Center, CARESTL, has had its federal funding rescinded. I am deeply concerned about the gap in coverage this creates for my constituents. My office remains dedicated to helping those who have been left in uncertainty, and to the providers who are out of a job.
If you are in need of a new health center and unsure where to go, please visit or call my office.

Today, I introduced my “CDBG AAA” legislation, continuing my fight to ensure all St. Louisans can access federal assistance without barriers when disaster strikes.
It’s Day 100 of Trump’s heedless, unauthorized war in Iran. Let me say that again.
It’s Day ONE. HUNDRED.
100 days of disregarding the checks and balances set forth by our constitution that give Congress the right to declare war. 100 days of rising gas prices straining working families. 100 days of spending trillions of American dollars on a war with no clear objectives.
Enough is enough. End it. Now.
Happy Pride Month! This week, I got to honor Jordan Braxton, a truly remarkable champion for the LGBTQ community in the St. Louis region and beyond. Thank you, Jordan, for all you do. 🫶🏾🏳️🌈
The families in North St. Louis dealing with the aftermath of toxic exposure should be a part of the conversation. I’ll keep fighting to bring justice and resources to our community.
From the time the story broke of offensive symbols of hate, the noose and swastika, being tolerated in the military, I began fighting to stop it.
I came to Congress to get things done and my amendment requiring the use of hate symbols to be banned from the military was adopted UNANIMOUSLY today.
This is a win AGAINST hate and racism and FOR the values and promise of this nation.
Had a great time playing chess (and I will not confirm nor deny whether I was destroyed in the games) with my constituents, Asha and Emmanuel, at the Congressional Chess Tournament yesterday.
It was great meeting all of the students, adults, and chess lovers alike— and even better seeing STL representation on the Hill.
Gotta brush up my skills for a rematch…♟️
It’s about time. Dems forced this vote over the wishes of Donald Trump, Speaker Johnson and all but a handful of Republicans.
The House FINALLY has passed a War Powers Resolution to check Trump’s unauthorized and illegal war.
In this country, no one, not even a President, should be above the law.
Today’s visit to see my constituent detained by ICE down in Louisiana was emotional, but so important.
Being able to give him letters from his wife and daughter was heartwarming. I was also able to secure the privacy form we need to help us handle his immigration case.
I'll keep fighting to ensure that the Flores-Bravo family has a chance at asylum, and that everyone in this country is afforded due process and treated with the dignity and respect they deserve.
