When I got into this race for State Auditor, I did it because I believe that there’s nothing we can’t do as long as we do it together — and because I believed rural Minnesota needed a champion in St. Paul. That hasn't changed.
What has changed is the opportunity in front of us.
On the final day of the DFL endorsement campaign for Auditor, I want to express a world of gratitude for my wife, Erika, and my daughter, Polly, whose love, support, and sacrifices made this entire statewide campaign possible. I am truly blessed!
Congratulations to Minnesota’s next Lt. Governor, @benschierer ! It’s been a pleasure getting to know Ben on the campaign trail, and I am so excited to see his success has a champion for rural Minnesotans!
Proud to sign the Pledge for Trans Liberation to support transgender, two spirit, and non-binary Minnesotans as our next Auditor 🏳️⚧️
I’m disappointed not all Auditor candidates have signed this pledge. With 2SLGBTQIA Minnesotans facing unprecedented attacks, silence is complicity.
Thank you to all the Minnesotans who joined us to demand a vote on our gun violence prevention bill!
The GOP Speaker continues to hold the bill hostage. We won’t stop fighting until it becomes law. #HoldTheVote
A video shows Minnesota DFL Rep. Aisha Gomez yelling at GOP Rep. Elliot Engen after lawmakers failed to bring a bill on gun violence prevention to the House floor for a vote.

Minnesotans deserve action on legislation to get dangerous weapons off our streets. I stand with @mnhouseDFL legislators who are demanding that Speaker Demuth hold a vote.

Lives of children are more important than profits of gun manufacturers.
Enough is enough. We’re taking a stand. House Democrats are sitting in the chamber to demand a vote on our common-sense gun violence prevention package to save innocent lives.
Minnesotans have said enough is enough. We are demanding action to protect our kids.
House Republicans need to show some courage and tell Minnesotans where they stand.
Today, Minnesota students and gun safety advocates delivered 8,000 signed letters to House Speaker Lisa Demuth demanding action on gun violence prevention.
With days left in the legislative session, @LisaDemuthMN has hidden the bill in a desk drawer to avoid a vote on the reform Minnesotans demand.
It’s time she stops playing games and starts taking action to save lives.
Thank you to @SenTinaSmith for flying all the way from D.C. to stand with gun violence survivors and the House DFL as we fight to force a vote on our comprehensive gun violence prevention bill.
Enough is enough. Hold the vote and let’s get this done.
How many more innocent children must die before we take action to address the gun violence epidemic?
We urge an immediate vote on our gun violence prevention bill, but it the Republicans are literally hiding the bill.
If the GOP continues to prioritize guns over children, I will join my colleagues in an all-nighy sit-in on the House floor to demand a vote to save lives from gun violence. #LetUsVote
