Follow up of @nih_nhlbi Danazol for #TBD by @NickLeeMD : Danazol remains safe and effective. Most require life-long treatment, but organ dysfunction and infection (esp pulmonary) continues. Absent other risks (e.g., immune AA) clonal expansion is not seen. #ASH24 #HemeTwitter

The clonal landscape is dominated by mutations in PPM1D, POT1, TERTp and U2AF1. Patients who develop U2AF1, TP53, or chromosome 1q gain, have a higher risk of cancer development.
