REPOA recently facilitated a stakeholder dialogue on “Opportunities for New Partnerships to Support NGO Resilience in Tanzania.”📌
#REPOA#PolicyDialogue
Partnering with FCDO and Swiss Embassy in Tanzania, and organized by OPM and the Wajibika Project, the dialogue brought together 20 NGO leaders to reflect on practical ways to strengthen NGO resilience and partnerships.
Discussions focused on key areas where development partners can provide support, measures the government can take to enhance collaboration, and actions NGOs can take to build stronger partnerships with both government and development partners.
“For the Blue Economy to succeed, there must be strong institutions and a strong legal framework. We cannot get away from that.”

“Tanzania has diverse aquatic resources, mostly underexploited and weakly linked to value chains for regional and global markets. Unlocking this potential requires a shift from raw extraction to value chains for regional and global competitive markets.”
