Tough loss today with Renegade and Powershift. Just wanted to update everyone. My 70 wonderful family members and closest loyal friends, especially my wife, brother, and Gioia, are currently enjoying steak, lobster, expensive wine, and plenty of laughs. Meanwhile, I’m sitting here sadly by myself, mentally preparing to pay an astronomical bill around 1 AM. 🤦‍♂️ The “glamorous” life of horse racing. As a kid from Queens, winning the Belmont Stakes was always one of my biggest dreams. I’ve been fortunate enough to win it once and finish second four times. This Saturday, I’m incredibly lucky to have two horses, Renegade and Powershift, competing in the Belmont Stakes. I’ll be thrilled if either one gets the job done, but my heart is with Renegade after his courageous runner-up finish in the Kentucky Derby and Irad Ortiz’s incredible ride. Think Big, Dream Bigger. I was hoping nobody would remember his battle with Emerging Market in his maiden race. I was hoping nobody would notice his speed figures. I was hoping nobody would notice him breaking his maiden at Churchill Downs on Kentucky Derby Day. But now the secret is out. Every jockey in the race is going to let him walk on the lead in :24 and :49 because he's "just a rabbit" with "no chance" to win. 😂 Last time I supposedly pulled this stunt in the Belmont, I entered Nest as a rabbit for Mo Donegal. To all @UFLStorm fans: We at @TheUFL owe you an apology. As an owner, I take full responsibility and accountability. We failed to secure a home venue for next week’s game in Orlando. We worked extensively with Inter & Co Stadium, UCF, Camping World Stadium, Wide World of Sports, Colleges and numerous other venues, but ultimately ran into availability, renovation, broadcast, and logistical challenges. No excuses. We came up short and let our fans down. We are sorry. Yesterday, we secured Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus to ensure the game could be played next Sunday. That said, we’re still working around the clock this weekend. We have a few long-shot possibilities left, and we’re not giving up. The UFL is a league built on long shots. Maybe the odds are only 1%. But I LOVE our odds. Thank you for your support and for holding us accountable.

Don, I’m sorry for the miscommunication and confusion following last night’s @BattlehawksUFL game. We at the @TheUFL certainly share responsibility, and we take ownership of what happened. We need to do better, and we will. Even after a tough loss, some of our coaches and players remained on the field to spend time with fans, sign autographs, and take photos. Unfortunately, for some reason not all of our loyal Battlehawks fans had the opportunity to share in that experience. These photos are from last night, and they reflect the kind of fan interaction we want all of our supporters to enjoy. Thank you for your support and passion for the Battlehawks.
