A couple of notes on the Southland Conference attendance this athletic year
- This is the first year we've had a team hit 200k, and two teams've done it! UTRGV (203,860) and McNeese (201,478)
- For the first time since 2018-19, the Southland as a whole has hit 1 million in total attendance (1,039,495 so far)
- First time since 2019-20 the Southland has 4 teams over 100k in total attendance (UTRGV, McNeese, SFA, Lamar)
The Southland's growth has been amazing over the last 3 seasons. Have to keep it going🔥

This is the worst part about fandom. A lot of these people have 0 connections to those larger schools but just sellout for them

No question the Best sports entertainment in these town/areas.
…Others….SLC fans, their support unfortunately go to their close by larger schools and schools sports watched in youth…..LSU/Texas/TA&M/UTSA/Houston…

Lamar had their best year since 2018-19 last year with 128,120, and SFA is currently having its best year since 2018-19 with 127,636 so far this athletic year.

McNeese sports have been growing, and attendance has been proof of it. Tonight we should pass what I think would be the most all-time across all sports, and for sure since the 2012-13 athletic season.
Since Covid/Hurricane seasons, attendance:
2020-21: 33,157 / 78 games (COVID)
2021-22: 106,450 / 107 (COVID/Hurricane)
2022-23: 160,457 / 111
2023-24: 186,705 / 117
2024-25: 185,483 / 115
2025-26: 185,920 / 90
The Cowboys have a chance at crossing 200k this year for what I think is the first time in history. If anyone can confirm/correct me, who has more info would be awesome!
