Lost a friend to #COVID19. He was 29 and transgender from a Christian family and community. He endured so much hate, but despite that, he was the most Christ like of them all. He never got angry or retaliated. He only asked for love and that he live with his truth as a man.

None of us at @LAist were expecting the lay off announcement this morning. They are eliminating more than 10% of staff positions. This news comes just days after the L.A. Times made a drastic 13% cut to their newsroom.

Quite interesting Musk labeled NPR as state-affiliated media. In the strictest sense, it is true that Washington makes up 1% of funds, so Musk isn't absolutely wrong when we're looking at the letter of the definition. But I have questions!
