It's hard to believe how far we have come in 39 years. RCI has grown from a team of three in 1987 to five in 1995, to over 50 in 2026. Today we have the largest facility of its kind working with institutions and Museums and theme parks throughout the world and it wouldn't be possible without the hard work of everyone in this picture. #SkeletonCrew

Today is Vimy Ridge day and 2026 marks the 109th Anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. This commemorative bench, sculpted by Ruth Abernethy and designed by Linda Dicaire, was unveiled last year. Our @rcistudio team hand-cast this amazing piece at our Trenton, Ontario facility to honor the individuals that fought. This piece is now a part of The Eaton Walkway. The walkway invites visitors to reflect on courage, sacrifice, and the shared remembrance between Canada and France, providing vantage points that overlook the battlefield and the Canadian Memorial.

Just before his exhibit begins at the @Smithsonian, our #SkeletonCrew was able to give Junior a nice clean and slight touch up before its debut when the exhibition opens in early May. In December of 2024 “Al” the Allosaurus went to our facility for a refurbishment and to correct it's anatomical positioning based on current science. Great timelapse from @DalhousieU of our #SkeletonCrew installing "Michael's Whale" in the new Beaty Centre for Marine Biodiversity on campus. RCI worked with Dalhousie University and their Faculty of Agriculture, on this project, and mounted this blue whale skeleton from head to tail, and rigged and installed it on-site. This was a great project for us and we're proud to see it swimming in the atrium for all to see.
