Much has been achieved in CF research and treatment over the past decade but the work goes on to find therapies that will improve the lives of everyone living with CF. Great team effort here (led by @janedaviescf) highlighting the priorities for the next decade. Onwards team CF!!
Perspective article “Future Therapies for Cystic Fibrosis” published today in @NatureComms (Open access)! Here we look to the future of cystic fibrosis therapies and consider priorities for future research and development. rdcu.be/c5chV

Big shout out to the @cftrust. Their support of clinical trials infrastructure in the UK has enabled many centres like ours to give people with CF the chance to access trials of potentially life changing medications. Happy #InternationalClinicalTrialsDay to all!!
Today is #InternationalClinicalTrialsDay! We'll be sharing lots throughout the day to celebrate! ➡️ ow.ly/GXjy50JcT2i #BePartOfResearch (1/2)

Out at 4pm today: our latest paper from GenOMICC reveals 16 new, robust genetic associations with critical Covid-19, some of which might lead directly to effective new treatments, just like our study in 2020 did. 1/n nature.com/articles/s41586-0…

Brilliant work @kennethbaillie and team. From genomics to a successful targeted treatment in RECOVERY at lightening speed. Science at its best.
The news just now from RECOVERY is another massive improvement in care of patients with Covid-19. It also has implications for how we treat, and study, other life-threatening disease. 1/n
