Basics of journalism in an authoritarian regime. Do not repeat propaganda. Do not give lies a platform. Do not give “both” sides as a legitimate argument that is then used against real journalism. We are better than this, my fellow journalists.

5. Big red warning flag - Royaltie says you should not expect to see your own ad online. I have purchased digital marketing before, and OF COURSE I saw my ad online. It makes me extremely suspicious that they are not delivering ads at all.

4. When we cancelled Royaltie four days after a prepaid monthly bill, they refused to refund the unused portion of the month - about $280.

3. The Royaltie CEO weirdly has frequent FB Live sessions like pep talks for the minions involved in the MLM. Often disgruntled customers come into the stream to complain, and the minions quickly jump in to say the complainers are wrong and stupid.

1. Royaltie, which is digital marketing, is not effective in my experience. We did not get one single sale as a result of it, and we purchased their most expensive package.

For my friends who own restaurants and other small businesses, here is my experience with a company called Royaltie that supposedly sells digital marketing at inexpensive rates. Once again, if it seems too good to be true, trust your gut. I do not recommend Royaltie because:
