11 Reform MSs broke the whip yesterday to side with Plaid Cymru in criticising their own Party. Even their own Members know Reform has a childcare problem.

πŸ΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ ΏπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ Ώ Welcome to the official page of Restore Britain - Newport West & Islwyn. πŸ΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ ΏπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ Ώ We are committed to championing the issues that matter most to our communities, our businesses, our workers, and our future. Our branch exists to be a voice for local people, to highlight the challenges facing our area, and to support national campaigns that seek to strengthen Britain, protect our communities, and create opportunities for future generations. At the heart of our priorities is a commitment to supporting local, small, and Welsh businesses. These businesses are far more than economic statistics; they are the backbone of our communities. They create jobs, support local families, invest in our towns and villages, train young people, sponsor community events, and help preserve the unique character and identity of Wales. Yet many business owners face immense pressures every day. Rising operating costs, increasing taxation, complex regulations, inflationary pressures, recruitment difficulties, supply chain challenges, and reduced consumer spending have created a difficult environment for many enterprises. Despite these obstacles, thousands of hardworking entrepreneurs, tradespeople, shop owners, farmers, manufacturers, and service providers continue to work tirelessly to keep their businesses alive and their communities thriving. We believe these individuals deserve recognition, support, and a fair environment in which to succeed. Their determination, resilience, and commitment should be celebrated, not taken for granted. When local businesses thrive, our communities prosper. When they struggle, the effects are felt throughout the local economy, impacting jobs, investment, and opportunities for everyone. We are also deeply concerned about the challenges facing young people entering today's labour market. Across Newport West, Islwyn, and Wales as a whole, many school leavers, college graduates, and university graduates are finding it increasingly difficult to secure meaningful employment, apprenticeships, and career opportunities. We believe every young person deserves a pathway to success and the chance to build a future within their own community if they choose to do so. A thriving economy depends on connecting education, skills, training, and employment opportunities. By supporting local businesses and encouraging investment, innovation, and growth, we can help create the jobs and careers that the next generation desperately needs. We are equally passionate about protecting Welsh agriculture, an industry that has shaped our landscape, culture, economy, and communities for generations. Welsh farming is recognised around the world for its quality, heritage, and high standards. It supports countless jobs, sustains rural communities, protects our countryside, and contributes significantly to local and national economies. Agriculture is also officially recognised as a component of Britain's Critical National Infrastructure because food security is national security. A nation that cannot reliably feed itself is vulnerable to global instability, supply chain disruptions, international conflicts, and economic shocks. Supporting British and Welsh agriculture helps ensure a secure supply of safe, high-quality food while reducing dependence on imports and strengthening national resilience. Locally, agriculture supports families, businesses, suppliers, transport networks, food producers, and entire rural communities. Nationally, it underpins food production, environmental stewardship, economic stability, and our ability to withstand future challenges. Restore – Britain, Newport West & Islwyn will continue to stand alongside those who work hard, take risks, create opportunities, and contribute to the prosperity of our communities. We will champion local voices, support Welsh enterprise, advocate for our young people, defend our agricultural heritage, and promote practical solutions to the issues facing Wales and Britain today. Together, we can help build stronger communities, a stronger economy, and a stronger future for Newport West, Islwyn, Wales, and the United Kingdom. Join the conversation. Support local. Champion Welsh enterprise. Protect British food security. Restore Britain's future. restorebritain.org.uk/join_u…
